SURG 901e - Cardiothoracic Surgery(e)Course Description: The Cardiothoracic Surgery 4th Year Rotation Elective provides a more thorough and in-depth exposure to the field. The rotation is designed to provide students with clinical exposure, observation, and training to further their understanding in this highly specialized field. Cardiac revascularization and valve surgery comprise a large portion of the experience. These experiences will include a combination of office-based care and hospital/operative exposure.
