IMED 901s - Internal Medicine - Inpatient (s)Course Description: The Internal Medicine 4th year sub-internship provides students an opportunity to broaden their professional education by providing direct patient care, with internship-like responsibilities. This rotation will be more focused on inpatient management. In an inpatient setting, students will be on a hospitalist service where they will be admitting and following patients who are acutely ill and need hospital-based care. This rotation provides a unique opportunity to follow many patients across the entirety of their hospital stay from admission to discharge. Credits: 2-15 |
