FMED 904s - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(s)Course Description: The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, practices, and management strategies involved in rehabilitation medicine. This rotation emphasizes the assessment and treatment of patients with physical impairments, disabilities, and functional limitations. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in rehabilitation evaluations, and observe various therapeutic interventions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective rehabilitative care. Credits: 2-15 |
